Sylvie, a structured and dedicated VAT expert, has successfully advised countless clients throughout her 18-year career. As Indirect Tax Consultant at VAT Solutions, she puts her multiculturalism and exceptional linguistic skills in the service of her varied portfolio of international clients. A team player, she enjoys the challenge of working in a field in perpetual evolution.

After joining PWC Luxembourg in 2003, Sylvie quickly gravitated towards a specialization in VAT and taxation. This focus opened the doors to working with teams and clients across the globe. In her 13 years at PWC, Sylvie honed her skills, developed her network and was promoted to VAT Manager overseeing a team of 10 people. She later held senior positions assisting clients on Luxembourg tax matters at HRT Fidalux, BDO Tax & Accounting, and Tiberghien Luxembourg. When VAT Solutions asked her to be part of the team in 2020, she joined without hesitation.

Education and qualifications

Sylvie holds two diplomas – Luxembourg taxation “Fiscalité – Cycle A” and Luxembourg taxation “Fiscalité – Cycle B” from the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce. She also has a degree in economic and social administration from the Université Robert Schuman in Strasbourg, France.
Sylvie was a member of the order of Luxembourg Chartered Accountants (Ordre des Experts Comptables) until 2018.
